STARTS OCT. 13 This workshop meets two times a week for 3 weeks to bring a holistic, trauma-informed approach to personal safety. You will learn tools to combat the whole spectrum of violence, from verbal harassment to physical violence. Skills designed to interrupt violence with physical techniques, as well as ways to listen to intuition, to assert boundaries, and use de-escalation are included. In all sessions of the workshop you can expect to have close physical contact to learn self defense skills.
Open to women (trans & cis) & non-binary persons, ages 14+. Certificate of completion after attending all 6 sessions
