The YWCA is hosting a Red Cross Blood Drive on August 20 from 12:30 - 5:30. Donor diversity is important to successful outcomes. Sickle cell disease disproportionately impacts the Black community, and blood donors who are Black may be uniquely able to help patients with this disease.
