When you sign up for a YWCA Fitness and Aquatics Center membership you gain access to our amazing personal trainers! For an additional fee, you can work with a 1-on-1 personal trainer or you can save money by signing up for partner or small group training. Personal Training at the YWCA helps you reach your goals with individualized exercise plans for proper form, function, and results. You will gain knowledge to safely & effectively increase strength, stamina, and balance while adding variety to your workouts. Our certified Personal Trainers offer the support, motivation, and added accountability to help you reach your personal health and fitness goals.
Our Fitness and Aquatics Instructors are passionate and knowledgeable about their fitness specialty and our exercise classes are designed to enhance your health and wellness journey at the YWCA. We offer a wide variety of class options to fit a variety of interests and abilities. Some of our fitness classes include Zumba, an exhilarating dance fitness party; yoga classes that cater to flexibility, balance, concentration, and mediation, and Spin & Stretch where you can enjoy an indoor ride, jam out to energizing music, and receive powerful results.
We offer a variety of instructor-led Water Exercise Classes all week long with different intensity and skill levels. Non-swimmers are always welcome in all of our shallow end classes. Our pool schedule also includes daily lap swim and open swim times. With our water temperature at 86°, you can enjoy water fitness at any time of the year! Some of our Water Exercise Classes include H2O Cardio, which is a high energy, low impact, shallow water workout. SilverSneakers Splash is a fun shallow water movement to improve agility and flexibility. Also, Deep Water Power Hour is an intense cardiovascular and strength conditioning using core stabilization with no impact.
