If you’d like to make a gift today, you have several options:
- Online – The simplest way to donate is to follow the link above using your credit or debit card. For online donations, you can select your preferred frequency of donation – one-time, monthly or annually. The YW accepts Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.
- By Mail – Make your check payable to the YWCA Asheville and mail it to 185 South French Broad Avenue, Asheville, NC 28801, Attention: Advancement Department.
- In Person – You can make a gift in person (cash, check or credit card) at any time during our business hours.

Donating stocks or securities allows you to deduct the full market value of the securities for income tax purposes. With this option, you eliminate paying capital gain taxes for which you would be responsible if you see the assets instead.
Transferring stock is simple. Just request that your broker transfer the security to the YWCA of Asheville through First Citizen’s Investor Services. More information and who to contact is listed below for your convenience.
