“Lunch with Libby” is an ongoing opportunity for staff and community to connect with Libby Kyles, the new Chief Executive Officer of YWCA of Asheville. Libby is an Asheville native who grew up as a part of the YWCA community. She has been a public school teacher for almost two decades and has been a champion for children and families as the co-founder and Executive Director of YTL Program (Youth Transformed for Life), an organization that creates bridges for children and families to overcome gaps of disparity.
We invite the community- staff, child care parents, volunteers, clients, board members, fitness center members, donors, partners, anyone and everyone who is invested in the Asheville community- to bring a bag lunch and have “Lunch with Libby.” Held every Wednesday from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm in the Board Room at YWCA, Lunch with Libby will engage up to 6 community members each week in dialogue, giving Libby the opportunity to listen to the needs and dreams of the community for the future of Asheville’s YWCA.
