 YWCA Group Fitness Class Schedule

 

Boot Camp: Physical training program incorporating dynamic stretching, running, and interval training. Exercises are designed to lose body fat, increase cardiovascular efficiency, and increase strength.

Bokwa:
Moving together to today's most popular music, Bokwa participants draw letters and numbers with their feet while performing an energizing and addictive cardio workout routine! 

CSI:
Create muscle definition using a combination of cardiovascular and strength training. Class includes abdominal work and stretching.

Cycle:
Cycling classes provide you with all the benefits of aerobic activity in a fun and supportive group setting. Go ahead, and get your heart pumping with a few good workouts. Energizing music and powerful results.

Hip-Hop Cardio:
A class created to have fun while working out that will reduce stress, build cardio and help you with strength training.

Pump:
Target your muscles from head-to-toe with this non-aerobic strength training session using a variety of equipment each session. Strengthen your body by alternating between upper and lower body exercises that will challenge your muscles to their strength limits. Resistance training in a  class setting. Fun workout.

SilverSneakers® Classic:
Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a SilverSneakers ball are offered for resistance. A chair is used for seated and/or standing support.  A 45-minute beginning exercise class.
 
SilverSneakers® Circuit:
Get Up & Go with an aerobics class for you – safe, heart-healthy and gentle on the joints. The workout includes easy-to-follow low-impact movement, and upper-body strength, abdominal conditioning, stretching and relaxation exercises designed to energize your active lifestyle. Intermediate class.

Step & Sculpt:
A high-energy, full body cardio and strength workout using intervals of step aerobics and resistance training.

Tabata:
This high-intensity training is fun, blasts calories, and moves so quickly it's hard to get bored. 20 seconds hard work, with 10 second rest...and REPEAT! Everyone must try this class - guaranteed to feel awesome afterward.

Wake Up Circuit: 
Start your day with a full-body workout.

Weight Training Resistance:
Enhance your knowledge of weights, weight training and body enhancement with personal traininer Josheph Hart.
 
Zumba: 
An exhilarating, effective, easy-to-follow, Latin-inspired, calorie-burning dance fitness-party!  High-energy dance class. Come move and sweat to powerful Latin music. Group class setting. Fun workout!
